Getting Started with SWE at ASU

1

Slack is our main form of communication. It is where you can ask questions, stay in touch with committees, and contact the leadership team.

2

Our events for the semester are published and you can integrate them into your own calendar by pressing the + icon after clicking the image.

3

SunDevilSync is ASU’s student org management system and it allows us to keep track of our membership enrollment on a university level.

4

A paid membership provides added benefits through SWE HQ, including scholarships, conferences, the SWE Mentor Network, and more.

Membership Benefits

We offer different levels of commitment for our members. To become a General Member, all you need to do is to come to our events! However, we have added benefits available to members who fulfill the requirements for Distinguished Membership.

Interested in taking on a leadership position? Check out our Leadership Info doc with open positions and descriptions!

*General Members may be eligible for SWE HQ scholarships as long as they have a SWE Member ID. Check out our step-by-step instructions on how to get a paid membership through SWE HQ.
